Project description:
The project "MEDEX – Improvement of business processes through the implementation of ICT solutions" is focused on increasing competitiveness and strengthening the market position of MEDEX in the field of manufacturing simple metal components. The project foresees the procurement of software for the preparation of technical documentation and hardware on which the software will be used, promotional and visibility activities, and project management. The project will enable, alongside retaining the existing employees, the hiring of 7 new employees and an increase in sales revenue by 15% by the end of 2022.

The project “MEDEX – Improvement of business processes through the implementation of ICT solutions” includes the following activities:
Increasing capacity and improving the efficiency of production processes: By procuring software, production time will be reduced as documentation will be created faster, will be clearer to read, and the software also enables fast conversion of CAD drawings into CNC machine programming language – CAM. In addition to speeding up the production process, this will have a significant impact on contributing to sustainable development.

Promotion and visibility: The public will be informed about the project, i.e., about the activities, results, and goals of the project. The company continuously works on raising public awareness about EU project support and about the results and impact of the co-financing.

Project management and administration: The implementation of this activity will ensure timely execution of the project in accordance with the proposed activities in order to achieve the results, purpose, and goals of the project.

The implementation of the mentioned activities will result in improved qualitative and quantitative components of production processes. Project activities, results, and purpose will be presented to the public, and the successful implementation of the project will be ensured. Increasing capacity and improving the efficiency of production processes will enable an increase in sales revenue by 15% and the retention of existing employees as well as the hiring of 7 new employees, thereby achieving the indicators and purpose of the project, i.e., increasing the competitiveness and efficiency of MEDEX in the field of metal product manufacturing.
